Stateless has its origins at the University of Colorado, Boulder where co-founders Eric Keller and Murad Kablan sought to introduce a revolutionary software-based architecture for network functions. Murad spent five years researching the topic during his Ph.D. studies with Eric as his advisor.
After proving the architecture's feasibility, Eric and Murad began the commercialization process, forming the company and recruiting team members. The team completed Techstars Boulder, the University of Colorado's New Venture Challenge and received multiple grants from the National Science Foundation.
In November of 2017, the company raised a seed round of $1.47 MM to help fund development and prove product-market fit with proof of concept deployments. The team continues to grow as the product's general release approaches in early 2019.
